Hong Kong is known for dirty city, but actually they have street cleaning services by Environmental Hygiene department. We see cleaners everyday in our morning walk. The city have these waste bin everywhere as well as special waste bin for dog waste＊, so Sally doesn't have to carry my poo everywhere!
All streets are swept and waste collection are all done by manually. And apparently,workers normally begin working at daybreak and continue until late evening.All streets are swept at least once everyday- in the main commercial and tourist areas, streets are swept 4 times up to 8 times a day.
It is a lot of work to keep this city tidy for sure.

香港は汚い都市で知られているけど、実は香港の環境／衛生局が毎日掃除をしている。いつも私たちの朝の散歩時間帯から清掃者の人を見るけど、この清掃者は自分の担当の通りをほうきで掃き、ゴミ箱のゴミを収集する。このゴミ箱と犬排出物用ゴミ箱は街中*にあり、サリーは私の排出物を持って歩かなくてもすむ。
全ての通り掃き掃除とゴミ収集は手作業で行われていて、清掃者は夜明けとともに夜まで働く。清掃者は一日に一回は掃き、観光客が多い通りは一日に４〜８回ぐらい掃くらしい。
香港の街をキレイに保つのは大変な仕事だね。
